Every year, the Valley Forge First graders adopt a rain forest animal at the Philadelphia Zoo. By adopting an animal, we help provide the care and food the animal requires throughout the year. When the first grade students visit the zoo for their yearly field trip, they search the zoo to find this special animal.
This year the zoo has given us the chance to choose which animal to adopt, so we thought we would open the opportunity up to the entire VFE community! Starting February 1, 2016 Valley Forge Elementary students can begin to vote for the animal they would like to adopt.
How do you make your vote count? It\’s easy! During the weeks of 2/1/16 and 2/8/16 simply put money in the jar with the picture of the animal you choose on the front. The animal that earns the most money/votes will be adopted by VFES!
