The VFES Falcon 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Kids Fun Run is a fundraiser for Valley Forge Elementary School
located in Wayne, PA.

The run was started in 2013, not only as a fundraiser but also as an event to encourage children in a healthy lifestyle. We’ve had over 500 participants each year, with runners ranging in age from kids to adults.
Proceeds from the run allow the PTO to purchase much needed items for the school that the school district cannot fund from its budget.
The run is located in scenic Wilson Farm Park which provides plenty of space, lots of parking and a playground for kids that are not participating in the events.

Please be aware that there will be limited parking in the Picnic Pavilion parking lot for the safety of our runners & walkers. Thank you for your understanding.

Timeline

7:45 AM:     Registration Opens

8:30 AM:     Stretch

9:00 AM:     5K Run/Walk

9:45 AM:     1 Mile Kids Fun Run

Registration and Cost

Falcon 5K Run/Walk:     $25 ($35 day of race)

1 Mile Kids\’ Fun Run:     $15 ($25 day of race)

In honor of Veterans\’ Day, veterans run for free. Contact falcon5k@vfespto.org for more info. 

Register by October 31 to receive a t-shirt. T-shirts are NOT guaranteed for race-day registrations.

Online registration closes at 11:45 pm on Wednesday, November 7, 2018.

Race-day registrations must be paid by cash or check only.

Bib and T-shirt Pick Up

Participants can pick up their race number and t-shirt on Saturday, November 10 from 3pm-5pm at Valley Forge Elementary School.

If you can\’t make it during this time, you can pick up your bag on race day.

Sorry, registration will not be available at early pick up.

  • overall race winning male and female

Results

The 5K Race will be professionally chip timed by Run The Day.
