Looking for a meaningful volunteer opportunity? Homeroom parents are a great way to get involved in the PTO and in your child’s classroom. These positions are filled in a first-come, first-served capacity.
Four Homeroom (HR) parents are needed per classroom. HR parents are responsible for organizing the game/craft for three classroom parties throughout the school year (Halloween, Winter, and End of Year).
One of the HR Parents will be assigned the role of Head HR Parent. All classroom communication will come from the Head HR Parent. Head HR Parents coordinate teacher gifts for the holidays and end of year and the Spring Fair Raffle item.
Homeroom volunteers must have all clearances up to date and on file with the school district office. Visit the Volunteers Guidelines page for information on obtaining clearances.
