We have the best teachers at Valley Forge Elementary, so let’s show them some love during Teacher Appreciation Week! This year, we are asking each grade to be responsible for one day of Teacher Appreciation Week, and through donations from generous families like yours, we can really make the week something special.
While Teacher Appreciation Week is May 8th – 12th, we are collecting donations now, as spring is a crazy time for parents in general, and we don’t want our teachers lost in the shuffle.
Our goal is for each student to bring in a donation for their grade level. Of course, this is completely voluntary, and each child will be included in the teacher celebration.
We are suggesting a donation from $1 – $10 per student.
Kindergarten: The donation will cover Monday, May 8, which is breakfast in the large group room!
First grade: The donation will cover Tuesday, May 9, which is “Philly Fun Day” – all food from Philly-based companies!*
Second Grade: The donation will cover Wednesday, May 10, which will be breakfast in the large group room!*
Third Grade: The donation will cover Thursday, May 11, which is a self-serve candy bar in the break room!!*
Fourth Grade: The donation will cover Friday, May 12, which is “Dinner is on us!” Every teacher gets to take home a pizza!
*Grade donations will determine the scope and size of each day’s theme.
Again, none of this is mandatory. We appreciate the generosity of the families of VFES to help make this an unforgettable week. Please submit your donations by May 12th. You can donate online through the form below, or by Venmo at @ValleyForge-PTO.
Thank you in advance for your kind donations!
